Kilgore, TX –Specialty Rental Tools & Supply, LCC, is proposing to install new equipment worth $2.7 million in a new manufacturing facility in Kilgore with the help of an Economic Development Agreement from KEDC.

STS plans to relocate into a new facility on Highway 31 from their current location on Maverick Dr. in the North Kilgore Industrial Park and install new equipment, retaining  13 jobs and creating 10 more over three years.  In return KEDC has agreed to reimburse the company up to $78,000 in increments.

“KEDC’s goal is to facilitate the creation of primary jobs and investment in Kilgore,” said Amanda Nobles, KEDC Economic Development Director.  “Our support of this project is one way we can do that.”

STS provides rental equipment across a number of product lines to all major and independent operators and service providers. Based in Alvin, Texas, the operations span 30 locations over eight states.  Product and service offerings include Wireline and Slickline, Coil Tubing, Production Services, Gravel Pack, Thru-Tubing, Performance Fluids, and Frac Stac Equipment.
